Family Camp 2008

This past weekend, we "RV"ed in the hills near Ukiah with our church. It was a little bit of a stretch for us, being home-bodies and all, but it was really a lot of fun. We spent the time listening to a great series of sermons/lectures, visiting, playing, and eating well (bonus that I didn't have to cook!). The kids had a ball with their friends- catching frogs & crayfish in a creek, playing in the park, hanging out in the game room, operating a little concession stand, and hearing Bible stories. Ben even rode a very long, fast, and high zip line that came down a hillside and swung out over the creek. He loved it! And Dan participated in Fear Factor: Adults vs. Teens. It was pretty tame, but messy. We had a great time, and the kids are asking when we get to go back.

This last pic is of Dan in Fear Factor. One of the challenges was to smear peanut butter all over your face and pick up as many pieces of paper off the grass as you could. I think they won.
